James had fame, fortune, and what he thought was a successful life. Then he found himself homeless. “I had a warped idea of what homelessness was,” he admits. “But now I realize it can happen to anyone.”
“Being here made me realize the world is full of sin. Reading the Word of the Lord has really changed my life. There’s no better feeling than waking up in the morning with no worries on your mind, thanks to God. If not for the Mission, I’d be on the streets or in jail.”
