Since 1960, our weeklong overnight summer Camp has welcomed children and teens from across Hampton Roads to learn about God and experience His love in a safe, fun-filled, Christian environment. Many of our campers discover hope, purpose, and a lifelong relationship with the Lord.
For children whose families cannot afford to send them to Camp, sponsorships allow them to enjoy the opportunity of a lifetime.
This monthly event offers Camp staff, previous campers, and their teen friends a chance to Encounter Christ / Encounter Community. The evenings also serve as Christian youth leadership training as teens and 20s study the Word of God, pray, build each other up, eat, and have fun together.
Parenting a child with special needs can be challenging, but our Recharge Respite Care offers some help. Each Saturday day camp pairs children and teens with special needs with a “buddy” to guide them through a fun-filled day. It gives parents a few free hours to spend their time as they like.
Hope Haven Children’s Home provides a 24/7, loving Christian home for children from troubled families. Caring houseparents minister to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the girls and boys in their care, providing stability and peace when it has been lacking in the past.
